The story of David and Goliath is not meant to lead us to confidence in ourselves, but rather in our God. It's meant to teach us about the way God acts to save His people from their enemies...how He has saved us from our greatest enemy in Christ. It's meant to teach us about Jesus! He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
