A Divided Family

It may seem odd to focus on this low point of David’s story in the season of Advent, but the timing is actually wholly appropriate. Not just because many of us feel the brokenness of this life in unique ways during the holidays, but because the whole point of Advent is to situate our hope in Christ amid our grief…amid our despair! Isn’t that why Jesus came to begin with? And why He will come again?
